GALLERY OPENINGS
15 Sep 2023, 6 to 9 PM
During the Berlin Art Week in September, 51 Gallery Weekend Berlin participants will open their exhibitions. The GALLERY OPENINGS offer visitors the opportunity to see a wide-ranging program of international artists at more than 50 locations in Berlin. Alongside established solo positions like Raphaela Vogel at BQ or Anicka Yi at Esther Schipper, group shows will also be presented, such as Rudolf Stingel, Richard Prince and Albert Oehlen at Max Hetzler or the exhibition My Demons My Angels at ChertLüdde, which also celebrates the gallery’s 15th birthday.
The galleries will be open on Friday and Saturday during their regular hours from 11 am to 6 pm, with additional hours until 9 pm on Friday evening.

The GALLERY WEEKEND FESTIVAL, curated by Sandra Teitge, is also taking place on the weekend of September 16 and 17. It offers an extensive program of events with readings, performances, sounds, screenings, and interventions by the artists represented by the galleries, as well as a party with various DJ sets.
The GALLERY WEEKEND FESTIVAL is supported by the Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises. We would also like to thank our long-time partner BMW for supporting Gallery Weekend Berlin.
