In this video essay, produced for his eighth solo exhibition with neugerriemschneider, Olafur Eliasson offers insight into his decades-long investigation of perception, illusion and the range of optical phenomena. Eliasson’s exhibition, Near future living light is on view until October 24, 2020 and comprises all new works, including three immersive light installations, a wall-mounted sculpture made with hand-blown glass and a 36-part watercolor.
